The City of Ruins

New Jersey Nets' Brook Lopez, Left, Attempts To Drive To The Basket As He Is Guarded By Cleveland Cavaliers' Jamario
The Nets are riding an awesome 4 game losing streak (sarcasm kills you know) entering Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. So when I learned about the home and home series of this two struggling teams, the first person that came out of my mind is Lebron James (damn it, this is the my second consecutive post involving Lebron James). I hated the Cavs as much as I hate Lebron (still hate him) and when he left the city of Cleveland I felt the pain of the organization, the fans and the city itself.

So much for the "I feel for them" drama, the Nets lose to the Cavs 93-91, thanks to the lucky shot of Anthony Parker behind the ark and beating the shot clock. They were "lucky" , the Nets?? nahh. Terrence Williams wasn't able to play because of an Abdominal Strain, it means he's injured in case you don't know what abdominal strain is which I don't. The Nets heads to the city of ruins to try to split the home game series. According the Netincome, a writer for Sbnation's Netsdaily the odds are very good. The Nets have swept a home and home series 4 times, been swept for 5, and split 19 times.

In order to split this freaking home and home series the Nets need their 22 year old Center, Brook Lopez to bring his A-Game tomorrow (he was even compared to a tissue paper by Avery Johnson while watching a game film). Lopez has been struggling ever since their lost to Charlotte but yeah he's the least of our concern here. Will the scoring Travis Outlaw show up? Will Anthony Morrow drain his freaking shots?? A lot of questions here but there is still hope.. It's just been 7 games right?? No need for panic but if Cleveland swept there's obviously a problem.
